Quick Feature: South County Brewing Company

It’s Fall 2025 Lancaster City Restaurant Week Monday, September 8 – Sunday, September 14!

It’s important to support our local culinary community and we’re excited to feature almost 50 great restaurants in the City of Lancaster with a variety of specials.

We visited South County Brewing Company at their new spot in downtown Lancaster to have their delicious special!

South County Brewing Company has been a staple in York, PA, and has now recently opened a Lancaster location downtown! They bring a popular beer and craft kitchen menu to the City and have revitalized the Steinman building and Park Bar.

Guests can enjoy exquisite Artisan Pizzas like Spicy Bianco and Buffalo Blue Chicken, BBQ Platters ranging from brisket, to chicken, to baby back ribs, shareable appetizers like wings and egg rolls, and an array of sandwiches, sides, and desserts. Check out their full menu here.

For Restaurant Week, they created a unique beer and food tasting experience that’s a perfect way to indulge in the flavors they offer. For $𝟲𝟬 guests can enjoy a 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘂:

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗥

• 8oz Automatic Fantastic Blackberry Kettled Sour
• Blackberry Glazed Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops. Served over a Baby Arugula, Sweet Corn and Roasted Pepper Salad.

𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗘:

• 8oz Stellar Phase Pale Ale
• Grilled Ribeye topped with Lump Crab Meat, Asparagus, and a Hopped Hollandaise. Served with Roasted Potatoes and a Red Wine Demi-Glace.

𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧:

• 8oz Dark Thread Porter
• Dark Chocolate Flourless Cake with a Dark Thread Peanut Butter Sauce and Whipped Cream.

The whole experience was amazing and packed with flavor. Their intentionality around what beverages pair with their food flavors was unmatched. All of it was phenomenal, but the Blackberry Glazed Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops were probably my favorite.

All of the courses paired well with their unique beer selections (the Dark Thread Porter was truly so good with the dark chocolate cake!).

This is definitely a spot to bring family and friends for lunch or a night out. The atmosphere is relaxed and approachable while providing a fantastic menu with options for everyone. When I was there, my friends and I split a pizza and some apps as well!

Definitely make sure South County Brewing Co. is on your list to visit during Restaurant Week (and after!). They are located at 26 W King St, Lancaster, PA 17603. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday/Saturday 11am-10pm, and Sunday 11am-9pm. Closed on Mondays.
