Quick Feature: Bad Garden Kitchen

It’s Fall 2025 Lancaster City Restaurant Week Monday, September 8 – Sunday, September 14!

It’s important to support our local culinary community and we’re excited to feature almost 50 great restaurants in the City of Lancaster with a variety of specials.

We stopped by one of Lancaster City’s newest culinary destinations to preview the cuisine—Bad Garden Kitchen!

Bad Garden Kitchen recently opened at 398 Harrisburg Ave, Ste 500 Lancaster, PA 17603. It’s open daily from 11am-8pm!

The restaurant features delicious plant-based food for vegans and foodies alike. The menu is packed with incredible options like plant-based burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more. There is also a delicious lineup of plant-based chicken options, desserts, and shareable sides!

The Shroom Doom plant-based burger

I tried their Shroom Doom sandwich and it was unbelievable! The mushroom-quinoa burger was ridiculously good, and the toppings of plant-based cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, pickles, red onion, and their signature house spread made for a fantastic tasting experience.

I was also able to try their vegan-friendly soft serve ice cream. It was fantastic! You can also get milkshakes and floats to pair with your lunch or dinner.

They also have vegan whoopie pies that seem to be quite the crowd-pleaser.
